Fees & Insurance

We believe that financial information should be clear and available before beginning treatment. The information below outlines current fees, insurance participation, and payment options.

Fees

Fees are based on the type and length of the appointment.

Initial Psychiatric Evaluation
90 minutes — $450

Follow-Up Appointments
15 minutes — $200 (available for established patients when clinically appropriate)
30 minutes — $250
60 minutes — $350

Individual Psychotherapy
60 minutes — $350

Couples & Family Therapy
60 minutes — $350
90 minutes — $500

Longer appointments may be recommended or requested when additional time would be helpful. Appointment length and frequency are determined collaboratively based on clinical needs and treatment goals.

Insurance

Manifold Psychiatry is currently in the process of becoming an in-network provider with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and VA Community Care Network (CCN). Until participation is finalized, services are considered self-pay.

If you have coverage with CareFirst or CCN and are interested in becoming a patient, you are welcome to contact the practice regarding current credentialing status and available options.

Insurance participation may expand over time.

Out-of-Network Benefits

If Manifold Psychiatry is not in network with your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. Upon request, we can provide a superbill containing the information needed to submit a claim to your insurance company.

Out-of-network coverage and reimbursement vary by plan. We recommend contacting your insurance company directly to learn about your benefits, deductible, and reimbursement rates. Payment is due to Manifold Psychiatry at the time of service regardless of whether reimbursement is available.

Sliding Scale

A limited number of reduced-fee appointments are available for patients who may otherwise have difficulty accessing care. Sliding-scale fees are determined individually based on financial circumstances, appointment type, and availability.

If cost is a barrier to care, please feel free to ask about current availability.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance. Cash and checks are preferred; electronic payment by credit or debit card is also available.

Psychiatric services are generally eligible expenses for HSA and FSA funds. Receipts or other documentation can be provided upon request.
